As part of getting release 1.3.0 released, a decision was made to no longer build the hbase-txn product for mapr - see JIRA TRAFODION-1612.  This decision was made because the download location we use to get mapr files did not always respond which caused build failures.  Also, to our knowledge, there has been no formal testing using the mapr distribution with Trafodion.  This JIRA has been written to officially add support for using mapr with Trafodion.
