using patches
Hello,
I have a big problem :
My project size is about 10 mb and is hosted in a distant server and
everytime i commit major changes (lot of files) i must delete all the
project folder on the server and replace it with an 'export' of the
youngest revision, seems to be very heavy operation since am upgrading
from one revision to another.
is there anyway doing patches wich svn ?

I'm assuming you can't "svn co http://yourserver/svn" from the distant
server (because if you could, you wouldn't have this problem.)
You could "svn export working_copy dump" and then
rsync --rsh=ssh -rptvzu dump/ user@distant_server:/path/on/that/box/
'man rsync' for details. Also see unison, or ssh tunnels, or transfer a
patchfile to the server and try to automatically apply it.

svn help diff
(Use svn diff to produce a patch between 40 and 41 locally, copy the
patch to the distant server, and apply it.)

Why not just run 'svn update' on the distant server?

Am reexposting the problem :
In my distant server, i have the revision number is 40
And in my local machine, i checked out the 40th revisions and made
some changes and after a commit i got the 41st revision.
now i hould update my productif revision that is on the distant
server, what i will is :
1> connect to the distant server
2> delete the folder tree where the revision 40
3> export the hole 41st revision from my svn repository to the distant server
knowing that the 'hole' revision is about 10 megs and the difference
between r40 and r41 was made on few files that logically dont need to
replace all the project for.
my question where :
can i produce a patch to upgrade the distant productif revision r40 to r41 ?
