BaseComponentTestCase with templates

Hello all, 
 
I'm using the BaseComponentTest case (unit great test framework, by the
way). 
 
Is there any way to get it to load a template and mock render based on
that template?   It would be really useful to check rendering based on
conditions in the component in the same has Tapestry's TestAny and the
other unit tests of non-template based components.  This could be
especially useful for unit test of pages.
