sending data from WebService to WebService

Hello

This is a design-related question.

I have deployed a web-service on host A using Axis 1.1
in Java. I have another Java application which has a
small GUI on host B. This GUI has a button which needs
to send some String to deployed Web Service on host A
that I initially started using "java
org.apache.axis.transport.http.SimpleAxisServer" at
port 8095.

Is it possible through a simple socket connection or
whatever other reason that might be? I can think of
writing an Axis client and run it on the fly as soon
as I click on that button. Data to be passed will be
the parameter to this client.

Any suggestions?

Sandeep
