[jira] Created: (GERONIMO-1353) Geronimo Feature Failed to Install Properly

Geronimo Feature Failed to Install Properly
-------------------------------------------

         Key: GERONIMO-1353
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-1353
     Project: Geronimo
        Type: Bug
  Components: eclipse-plugin
    Versions: 1.0-M5
 Environment: Windows XP
    Reporter: Arthur Ryman

I am testing with WTP 1.0 RC4. I tried to install the Geronimo runtime using the Install New Server function which uses Update Manager. The update appeared to complete but the runtime was in a broken state. Only the \lib folder was created - no \bin, no \repository. There was no way for me to refresh the update. There should be some better check to verfiy that the Feature was updated correctly. I'll have to manually delete the Feature and retry.

[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-1353) Geronimo Feature Failed to Install Properly

Posted by "Sachin Patel (JIRA)" <de...@geronimo.apache.org>.

Sachin Patel commented on GERONIMO-1353:
----------------------------------------

I was able to get the feature to install, but WTP would not extract the server image into the directory specified. Due to the eclipse update manager defect when running within a runtime workbench, could not debug. Waiting for tim to get back to me.
