[jira] [Created] (HIVE-17263) Reduce debug logging for S3 tables

Barna Zsombor Klara created HIVE-17263:
------------------------------------------

Summary: Reduce debug logging for S3 tables
                 Key: HIVE-17263
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-17263
             Project: Hive
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Barna Zsombor Klara
            Assignee: Barna Zsombor Klara
            Priority: Minor

When log level is set to debug operations accessing tables on amazon s3 will output a significant amount of logs, a lot of which is about the http communication (http headers and requests) which may not be that useful even for debugging purposes.
Since some ZooKeeper, Hadoop, DataNucleus etc. loggers are by default set to INFO+ levels I suggest we do the same for Apache Http and AWS.
