JSP include ignores parameter
Summary: JSP include ignores parameter
Product: Tomcat 4
Version: 4.0.3 Final
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Unknown
AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: klaus.mutzbauer@moresophy.de
In this example test.jsp includes header.jsp with a parameter.
But the parameter is missing in the request object in header.jsp.
Works with <% request.setAttribute( "testparam", "1" ); %> instead of param tag.
test.jsp:
<html><body>
<jsp:include page="header.jsp">
<jsp:param name="testparam" value="1"/>
</jsp:include>
</body></html>
header.jsp:
<%
java.util.Enumeration enum = request.getAttributeNames();
while( enum.hasMoreElements() )
{ out.println( enum.nextElement() ); }
%>
