2.3.D1: does xercesImpl.jar replace xerces.jar

Up to Xalan 2.2.0, I copied xalan.jar, xml-apis.jar, and xerces.jar to my project's classpath. With 2.3.D1 should I copy
xercesImpl.jar and remove the old xerces.jar from my project's classpath?
