Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: JAXME-25
Summary: Access to the targetNamespace of a schema
       Type: Wish

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Minor

    Project: JaxMe
 Components:
             JaxMeXS
   Versions:
             current (nightly)

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Mik Lernout

    Created: Thu, 19 Aug 2004 11:36 AM
    Updated: Thu, 19 Aug 2004 11:37 AM
Environment: n.a.

Description:
It would be really great to have access to the targetNamespace of a logical schema, it is part of the information set and makes apps that need a lot cleaner (as opposed to getting top level elements and getting the targetNamespace from them...)
