[~benoitc] mentioned on the mailing list that his work is complete and awaiting review. 

The correct branch to review appears to be [1994-merge-rcouch|https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=couchdb.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/1994-merge-rcouch].

I don't want to speak for Benoit but, if I were in his shoes, I'd want the review to end up in a merge with master. That means:

  # The decision to merge this functionality has already been made
  # New functionality on this branch is frozen, any newer changes on rcouch itself should be considered separately from the contents of this branch
  # Comments should focus on code quality, style, readiness for merge
  # At a bare minimum, if you are trying to help out and don't know where to start, _try to build the code and run the full test suite_.

Have I missed anything?
