   @dorest I tried the same steps mentioned by you : 
   ```
   make -j $(nproc) USE_OPENCV=1 USE_BLAS=openblas USE_CUDA=1 USE_CUDA_PATH=/usr/local/cuda-8.0 USE_CUDNN=1
   ``` on the latest commit on MXNet with commit hash : 15deabc689eb5810656307da6d3f295f0de4e242 
   
   I was not able to reproduce this issue anymore. 
   Can you try to use the make command once more on the latest commit to see if it works for you ?
