Shouldn't this users list be concern with Jetspeed and not an avenue to
advertise and sell unrelated products.

Are you saying sample sites?
basicPortal.com is running bP, so is Infonoia.com (and a few private sites)

Hope you try it.

There is a video.exe in documentation.
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/basicportal/bPproj/docs/
(same place where the source for this is!)

But ... why not just install the war?
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=55539

Also, this portal has training available for it. (More on MVC-programmers
mail list)

I wrote this when I first tried JetSpeed, and it did not meet my needs, I
wanted something simple and based it on Struts.

Yes, there is a video.exe in docs.zip, for those that do not want to deploy
the war file (which also requires executing a sql script, since CMS is
stored in XML field in DB, so it is easy/fast to aprove)

There is a video.exe in documentation.
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/basicportal/bPproj/docs/
(same place where the source for this is!)

But ... why not just install the war?
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=55539

Also, this portal has training available for it. (More on MVC-programmers
mail list)

I wrote this when I first tried JetSpeed, and it did not meet my needs, I
wanted something simple and based it on Struts.

 From the website :

"This is portal that is considered by many to be the best portal, better
than BEA, IBM, and Oracle Portal; as well as PHP-Nukes, Plone, Zope,
OpenCMS, JetSpeed, and Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server".

Now that's what I call a gutty point of view :)
