Could not find proper documentation for Usergrid

Hi,

I was trying to use Apache Usergrid. But I could not found a proper
documentation for that.

Even for "http://usergrid.github.io/docs", returned 404 - not found.

can you please help me to find out proper documentation for Usergrid.

Thank you.

Usergrid is an open source project, so there no guarantees. You could use the Apigee SDKs as well. Just change the target URL to point to your Usergrid install and don't use push notifications. Rod Simpson

Hi Rod,

Thanks for the update. But the apigee SDKs is bit different than Usergrid
SDKs. That is bit difficult to manage.

Would appreciate if you can let me know the time period of getting them
ready.

Thank you.

We have not finished adding all the dos yet. Hopefully we will get to this soon.

Except for the features that UG does not support, like Push Notifications, the Apigee dos should be compatible.

Hi,

Do you have documentation with example for using usergrid SDKs?

Would appreciate if you can share that kind of documentation.

Thank you.

Re: Could not find proper documentation for Usergrid

Posted by krish Bhaya <kr...@gmail.com>.
Hi,

I have retrieved that "http://usergrid.github.io/docs" from "
https://github.com/usergrid/usergrid-docs" location. There, in the bottom
it has been mentioned as below:

*README.txt*

*Usergrid Programmer's Guide

Documentation for the Usergrid project for Application Developers

Latest versions can be viewed online at:

http://usergrid.github.com/docs <http://usergrid.github.com/docs>*

I have found the above
link(http://usergrid.incubator.apache.org/docs/) you have shared. But
there we cannot get proper documentation to implement an Android
client. But I was able to find proper documentation from, apigee for
their SDKs. Here is the link from apigee:

http://apigee.com/docs/app-services/content/app-services-features

Is there a proper documentation as above in Apache usergrid?

Basically, I need to know about the Usergrid features and use of it.

Would appreciate if you can help me on this.

Thank you.

http://usergrid.incubator.apache.org/docs/

That you should get you started. I'm not entirely sure where you got
usergrid.github.io though. We should be removing that from readmes and
pasting the above link.
