   Hi @Bukhtawar, footers are encrypted by default, but files can optionally use plaintext footers by calling [`EncryptionPropertiesBuilder::with_plaintext_footer(true)`](https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/blob/876585c1cd986dbaee0c26d52b55a4186a2f68c8/parquet/src/encryption/encrypt.rs#L204) when creating `FileEncryptionProperties`.
