[jira] Created: (JSPWIKI-307) Redirection from UserPreferences.jsp
doesn't work if "&" is included in the original page name
Redirection from UserPreferences.jsp doesn't work if "&" is included in the original page name
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JSPWIKI-307
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-307
Project: JSPWiki
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Default template
Affects Versions: 2.7.x
Reporter: Florian Holeczek
Priority: Minor
The error occurs when one has opened a page whose name contains an ampersand and then opens the user preferences.
In the link, the ampersand isn't encoded, which leads to a broken redirect.
example: /UserPreferences.jsp?redirect=Alpha%20&%20Beta
Internet Explorer and Firefox react differently, but both of course can't get back to the original page.

Florian Holeczek reopened JSPWIKI-307:
--------------------------------------
I guess as a side effect, now page links with & lack this character, e.g. a&b becomes ab.
