A quick way to run this cleanup:

cd $KYLIN_HOME
./bin/metastore.sh clean

This will report the garbage that can be cleaned from metadata store; Take a backup and then run the clean with delete option:

./bin/metastore.sh backup
./bin/metastore.sh clean --delete=true
