MIPS port pull request

Hi Marko,

Yes, I can fix that no problem.

The toolchain is available here: https://community.imgtec.com/developers/mips/tools/codescape-mips-sdk/download-codescape-mips-sdk-essentials/ I am using the latest version.
My Ubuntu 15.04 machine seemed not to have a problem using your very nice Newt application with the above toolchain, but let me know if there are any issues and I will see if we can come up with a fix.

fantastic. I pulled in these changes. One note though; I noticed 3 files were missing license info; hw/bsp/ci40/uhi32.ld, and hw/mcu/mips/danube/src/gic.[ch]. Would you able to create another pull request to fix that?

Also, are there any gotchas in setting up cross-compilation environment? I.e. can I just pull in standard binutils/gcc drops and start with those? Any specific version requirements?
