--------------------------------------
Key: MRM-928
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-928
Project: Archiva

Affects Versions: 1.1.1
Environment: 2.6.18-028stab053 #1 Thu Mar 20 10:01:48 Local time zone must be set--see zic manu i686 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5365 @ 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Reporter: fabrice
Priority: Critical
I have 3 repo configured,
- first one is proxied on external repo on the internet
- the second contains components developped by my company
- the third contains snapshot components of the internal component but is not used at the moment
scan process is configured every minutes on each repo, all consumers are activated.
I have a big problem a CPU occupation by archiva it is always at 99.9% and when I configure process task at 5am for exemple the top command output
top - 10:31:40 up 3 days, 21:12, 2 users, load average: 0.05, 0.20, 0.76
Tasks: 21 total, 2 running, 19 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie

So I think it is linked to the repo scan process task
I try to desactive all consumer but no effects are visible.
I try to reduce the scan frequency every 10 minutes but it is the same thing
I try to profile tomcat but i have some difficulties to analyse results.
