# Opened a .csv file
# Opened the same file in Excel
# Tried to save the file
# I got a popup that said the file was open in another process
# I closed Excel
# Tried to save the file again
# The gui froze for 17 seconds
# Then it saves correctly

I took a look at the code, there is a loop that should wait for 10*200ms but is longer than the time I waited.

 I also reported the slowness via the Exception Reporter in NetBeans and it is report number 870343
