I've moved the logic of the patch to {{decodeBound}} and removed {{CompositeComponent}} in the [3.0 patch|https://github.com/stef1927/cassandra/commits/12423-3.0-b], see if it looks better now [~slebresne]. 

I think we should also split out a new method to decode the bound kind, I did not do it yet because it makes comparing harder.
