https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64169
Bug ID: 64169
Summary: Netbeans 11.2 infinite wait Tomcat 7.0.100 startup.
Then "Starting tomcat failed"
Product: Tomcat 7
Version: 7.0.100
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Component: Integration
Assignee: dev@tomcat.apache.org
Reporter: agharta82@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
Hi all,
Problem affects Tomcat 7.0.100. All ok with previous.
Problem affects Linux (Fedora 31 64 bit) and Windows 10 too.
Steps to reproduce.
1) Download/install a freshly Netbeans 11.2
2) In "Services" tab, subtree "Servers", right click "Add Server..."
3) Choose Apache Tomcat or Tomee
4) Select Tomcat folder and continue with setup.
5) Try to start tomcat.
In console log tomcat starts well, but no "return" to inform Netbeans that
tomcat has finished startup.
After a minute (or more), Netbeans returns "Starting Tomcat Failed" error.
Result: tomcat 7.0.100 cannot be managed by Netbeans 11.2
Best Regards,
Agharta
