[jira] [Commented] (UIMA-2560) Eclipse m2e complains about unmapped maven plugins

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2560?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13570150#comment-13570150 ]

Peter Klügl commented on UIMA-2560:
-----------------------------------

Does not work for me. I checked out the uimaj and build branch, added mapping for m2e complaints and built the projects with m2e and/or maven (run as...). m2e doesn't work at all and the maven build is not able to create a valid runtime plugin. The jar itself contains again jars, e.g., uimaj-core.jar. In Eclipse, the bundle is not able to resolve these and I get an ClassNotFoundException.

> Recent versions of Eclipse m2e complain about Maven plugins in the UIMA master pom not being covered by m2e lifecycle plugins:
> * uima-build-helper-maven-plugin
> * maven-dependency-plugin
> Add m2e metadata to the master POM to handle these.
