thread(log4j) crash
Hi,
I have a web application which consists of some jsp and servlets.
In web-inf/classes I have a log4j.properties files with following syntax:
log4j.rootLogger=debug, A, R
log4j.appender.A=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender
log4j.appender.A.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.A.layout.ConversionPattern=%p %c - %m%n
log4j.appender.R=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.R.File=carmensim.log
log4j.appender.R.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.R.layout.ConversionPattern=%p %c - %m%n
In my application I have a main thread(thread1) which runs other
thread(s)(thread2). And there is a problem. In thread1 and also in thread2 I
have something like: logger.debug("some text"); [Logger
logger=Logger.getLogger(NameoftheClass.class);] If this debug command is in
thread1 everything is OK, but when runs thread2 , application crashes on line
contains logger.debug....
There are no errors in application because when I change debug level to INFO in
log4j.properties file, everything is OK.
I use jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28
I have no idea where the problem is.
Thanks in advance
kevin_m
