On the [guide to configuring plugins|https://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-configuring-plugins.html], the information about mapping collections/lists is contrasted with the rules for mapping arrays. However, there's no section on that page, or link to anywhere else, to explain how arrays themselves are mapped. And, that is not only useful to have on its own, it's also essential to understand the information that does exist regarding collections/lists.
