   @steveloughran I see that in https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/branch-3.5/pom.xml, `hadoop.version` is 3.3.4, while in https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/branch-4.0/pom.xml, it is 3.4.1. (How did you determine that Spark 3.4.4 and 3.5.8 are built with Hadoop 3.3.5?)
   
   Can we build the Spark 3.5 Iceberg support with Hadoop 3.3 and the Spark 4.0 support with Hadoop 3.4?
