XSSF Color info

Hello All,
Is that a bug that you can't get background and foreground color info of
a cell for XSSF type stylesheets?
No one did reply to my earlier email and no info available on net on
this.
Not even on POI website.

How can I get to know if this is a bug or not?

Thanks,
Sujoy

To save time then, it will be best to log this as a bug through Bugzilla -
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?product=POI

Hi Mark,

Yes, that is right.
I have an xlsx file where there are certain cells and I want to know
their forground / background colour.
I don't get the correct colour info from the CellStyle object of the
Cell.
I think it's a bug with XSSF related objects.
But I want apache to accept this.
I am using latest 3.8 POI jar file.

I don't know why can't attach a file with this email address.

Sujoy

No, still no joy I am sorry to say.

Can I just check that you are trying to get the fill foreground and fill
background colours from a cell style and not seeing what you expect? If
that
is the case, I will try to create a test file myself here (both using
Excel
and POI XWPF) and make sure that I am getting at both. If that code
works, I
will post it for you to try and see if you still experience the problem.
If
so, then we can unzip the files and see what differs as that might point
to
the problem.

Will post again soon. Tomorrow, I am working on another site and may not
be
able to post anything until late in the day.

Yours
