Dave,
The trailing 'x' after the names are to indicate that these are exported sites, not the actual key name.
We do keep all actual key names as UC throughout.
We dont want to use OOoUSER as that then break with convention.
As for the others these will become OOOUSERJP etc.

If we use JIRA we will likely just have OOO.
I will be keeping the admin list to include all of the podling PPMC as ICLAs are signed.
I noticed on the index page that lower case is allowed and Geronimo fits a pattern of GMOx. I know that in mixed case the project already prefers OOo.
Are we setting the tags (OOOUSER) in stone? Is a rename to OOoUSER or OOOxUSER trivial for you?
I have a feeling that OOOUSERjp, OOOUSERes and OOOUSERde, etc. might be requested in the next few weeks. Nothing sure at all, but what do you think?

I can certainly create the first two. However, the latter is not a good idea. As we are slowly but surely moving projects away from using the auto-export tool.

The Dev wiki has a slightly more resttricted ACL.
Add only those that will help Admin the wiki to the ooo-admins group.
Add committers/devs to the ooo-developers group.
Note only confluence-administrators can add/delete people from groups.
Ensure all deve/contributors sign up for a cwiki account then use that user id to add them to the right group.
The OOOUSER group is more open (but still not 100% open) , so any signed up user can create pages etc without the need to add them to a group.

For OOODEV, we are stuck, a test from an ooo-committer is failing to give edit rights.
Please let me know how I can keep (or even see) the ooo-committers group to make it equivalent to the one for svn (which is updating continually)?
I understand limiting the administrators to a couple of people, but what's the point if we can't see or update the group?

joes has full confluence-admin rights as does many others in OOo, either they can add people to groups or they can make you confluence-admin, either way using groups is better especially for larger projects.

The space keys cannot easily be changed once set. Those spaces not matching the "all upper case alphanumeric, should match JIRA project key" convention were created before that convention was in place.

space keys should be the same as JIRA project keys. Do you already have decided on those or whether you'll be using JIRA at all? Otherwise we'd just create them as OOOUSER and OOODEV (all upper case, alphanumeric only).
We'll also need a list of Confluence user names to be the initial administrators for the space.

The Dev wiki has a slightly more resttricted ACL.
Add only those that will help Admin the wiki to the ooo-admins group.
Add committers/devs to the ooo-committers group.
Note only confluence-administrators can add/delete people from groups.
Ensure all deve/contributors sign up for a cwiki account then use that user id to add them to the right group.
The OOOUSER group is more open (but still not 100% open) , so any signed up user can create pages etc without the need to add them to a group.
