[jira] [Commented] (AMQ-2399) Add support for reastarting the Broker in BrokerFactoryBean

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-2399?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17266249#comment-17266249 ]

Matt Pavlovich commented on AMQ-2399:
-------------------------------------

The BrokerService supports a start.. and shutdown.. as long as you have a handle to the same bean, you should be able to start it back up.

[~mike.k] this issue is dated and most likely resolved in future releases. Please update this ticket if this is still an issue when using ActiveMQ 5.16.1.

NOTE: This JIRA is scheduled to close in 30 days if no update is provided.

> Please add support for restarting the broker when using it in Spring.
> Currently in 5.2, if the embedded broker dies then spring will start the default "localhost" broker (I have no idea how to tell it not to).
> Since support was added for restarting an embedded broker, please add support for it in Spring so it will use the correct broker to produce messages.
