no config files in 3.01 src dist

I just downloaded both the zip and tar.gz files for 3.01. Running ant 
install yields:

Buildfile: build.xml

init:
     [mkdir] Created dir: 
/Users/jamieorc/dev/tdn/tmp/Tapestry-3.0.1/framework/${classes.dir}

compile:

BUILD FAILED
/Users/jamieorc/dev/tdn/tmp/Tapestry-3.0.1/framework/build.xml:27: 
srcdir 
"/Users/jamieorc/dev/tdn/tmp/Tapestry-3.0.1/framework/${src.dir}" does 
not exist!


because there is no config dir and associated files included. Hmmm....
