--- Comment #4 from Marcus <ma...@apache.org> ---
@Mark:
In any case I think we need to see this on our own. So, please attach the
spreadsheet to this issue. If you have some sensible data that should be kept
secret, then first please replace it with some dummy data and make sure that
the issue is still occuring.

Thanks

Yes. We are not in a position to fix old customizations like this.

Hi, thanks for the response.

The cell is to change how many years someone would take to pay off a policy. It
then works out how much they need to pay per month.

When we try to change that cell, that message pops up.

hope that helps?

This is a validation condition provided by the creator of the spreadsheet. We
can look at it, as Marcus suggests, but you need to work this out with the
creator.

Again, what is the name of the file, including its extension? If it is an
Excel file, we can't help at all. If it is a Calc .ods file, we can confirm
how the message arises, but you need to provide the file and also the entry you
are attempting to make.

What is the name of the spreadsheet file you are attempting to change a cell
in?

The error message is not one supplied by Apache OpenOffice. It is probably
supplied by the spreadsheet you are using, either directly or indirectly.

You should check with the source of the spreadsheet file. We cannot provide
further advice without (1) a copy of the file and (2) a description of the
change you are attempting -- what cell, what are you attempting to enter, etc.
A readable screen capture of the complete pop-up (including any border text and
titles) would also be useful.
