[VOTE] Release HiveMind 1.0-beta-2

I feel HiveMind is ready for beta-2. If you check, I've added a lot
of documentation today, in the form of more detailed examples. A bunch
of wrinkles have been ironed out recently. Nothing overridingly urgent
in the bug list.

Strike while the iron is hot!

1. ant-grabber.jar is not included in the distribution. I think it
should. Maybe I'm missing some build instructions?
2. junit.jar is not downloaded. You're expecting this to be present in
the $ANT_HOME/lib folder? Maybe you're right here... this will have to
be there anyway.
3. ejb.jar (or something similar) is not downloaded. This will cause
problems compiling one of the tests.

I've done a full, clean build as recently as yesterday. What errors
are you seeing?

Don't know about the released builds, but right now building Hivemind
out of CVS is a pain. Some libraries (junit, ejb) are not downloaded,
and we have to download and put them in a god-forgetten folder
(target/module-lib/compile) to compile the project. Maybe this is just
me or there's really something wrong?

If these build issues are ironed out, I'm all for a new release :)

I've fixed a couple of more bugs and created the distributions. I'll
let the mirrors synchronize and publish it tomorrow. Much of nagging
minor bugs for beta-3/rc-1.

[RESULT] Release HiveMind 1.0-beta-2

Posted by Howard Lewis Ship <hl...@gmail.com>.
Looks like a pass. I expect to fix a couple of bugs on sunday and
produce the release, then do an announcement on monday.

I think we're very nearly at the point where we can start thiking
about a 1.0 final release, and start on 1.1.
