   I want to add that if problem persist for Windows 10 users, just follow these steps : 
   
   - Upgrade node.js : https://nodejs.org/en/download/
   
   - Upgrade npm by launching a powershell (as admin) and the following commands : 
   ```Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Scope CurrentUser -Force```
   ```npm install -g npm-windows-upgrade```
   ```npm-windows-upgrade````
   
   This worked for me.
