[jira] Created: (HADOOP-6320) Hadoop EC2 terminate-instances should terminate only those instances listed in the confirmation listing

Hadoop EC2 terminate-instances should terminate only those instances listed in the confirmation listing
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HADOOP-6320
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-6320
             Project: Hadoop Common
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: contrib/ec2
            Reporter: Tom White
            Assignee: Tom White
            Priority: Critical

There is an edge case whereby terminate-instances will not list instances in a security group if they are not also in a master or slave security group, but will terminate them. This can cause EC2 instances that are not in a Hadoop cluster to be accidentally terminated if they are in a group with the same name as the cluster.
