[jira] [Created] (HBASE-10683) Rolling restart never ending when a RS doesn't come back online.

Jean-Marc Spaggiari created HBASE-10683:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Rolling restart never ending when a RS doesn't come back online.
                 Key: HBASE-10683
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-10683
             Project: HBase
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Jean-Marc Spaggiari

When doing a rolling restart using rolling-restart.sh, if a region server is not able to come back online, the script will never stop and wait forever for the server.

Instead of that we might want to wait for a certain period of time and exit with failure.
