win32 test failures

Hmmm, after building today's trunk, my win32 tests are failing.

The good news is that the trans_tests.py #1 test is working now, thanks
to Jani.

The bad news is that update_tests.py #7 and switch_tests.py #2 are
failing. :-(

My tests.log is here:

Any win32 people willing to take a look?

The ra_local tests pass on my box. The kind of problem your log exhibits
pops up from time to time, but I've been unable to track it down. I
/think/ it is an obscure bug in the test framework that's triggered by
the wrong planetary configuration or perhaps unusual sunspot activity. I
notice it usually goes away if you wait long enough...

This is my work machine, rather than my home machine. I wonder if
there's something flaky about its build environment. As far as I know,
both machines are XP, both running VC6 with the same MS SDK, using the
same build scripts. The only difference between the machines are:

   1. home machine is real, work machine is Virtual PC.
   2. home machine is XP-sp1, work machine is XP-sp2.

I think #2 is more likely to affect things than #1. :-)

Is this the same machine where this happened?

Something specific on your setup/hardware?
(because your svn-breakage machine is doing just fine on r11179)
