forrest mailing list archives

Recently, the forrest team has split its mailing list from 
forrest-dev@xml.a.o into separate user@f.a.o and a dev@f.a.o lists. Is 
there a way to include forrest@x.a.o in user@f.a.o searches? I suspect 
that more 'users' would benefit from this type of functionality than 
'dev' types. If nothing else, it would be nice to have a statement on 
the search results page (with links!) indicating there is more 
information in the dev@f.a.o archives. Putting information on the 
mail-lists page[1] is probably not adequate, IMO.
