It has been agree with pctony, that we do not make a parallel vm, but do upgrade in place.
this means a scheduled downtime for the users (I will discuss this on aoo dev-list).
Before doing the ubuntu upgrade, we can make a snapshot image, so we have a fall back position, but the image is only for a very short period.
It is being investigated (by pctony if the vm can get extra ram (actual needs is removed)
