problems with the default publication
hi!
i have some problems with the default publication:
- when i try to create a new document i get always an error
- edit with bxe doesn't work (in ie 6.0), i get a blank page. how can i edit
a document?
- how can i delete a document?
i am using win xp, src version of lenya 1.2rc1, cocoon 2.1.2, tomcat 4.1.29
thanks
ibrahim

This is probably the same bug as #25140
(http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25140).
Maybe someone could check if it really applies only to files
*not* created by Tomcat (i.e., coming from the CVS)?
Thanks,

Are your filesystem access rights set correct? I mean, the tomcat
process needs the right to write to the file you want to delete. If you
create a new file, it will have all rights, because -tomcat- created it.
Maybe this helps.

AW: problems with the default publication
Posted by Ibrahim Can <ib...@gmx.ch>.
if i create a new document while the process tomcat.exe is running, i get an
error and after that i get with almost every action an other error! but if i
stop the process tomcat.exe and start tomcat with startup.bat, i don't get
an error when i create a new document. why that?
when i delete a document i get this error (the deleted document is after
that in the trash):

bxe will only work with mozilla (or firebird).
also, make sure that you have put bxe into your webapps/ROOT dir in Tomcat
(get bxe from cvs)

You have to edit these two files to get delete and/or archive to work.
-default/config/workflow/workflow.xml
-default/config/ac/usecase-policies.xml
* add the following where it makes sense in workflow.xml
