Open meetings Recording issue -regards

Hi,
I installed openmetings in centos server, I fixed ffmpeg issue. i
able to get *.ogg,*.flv,*.avi,*.flv.mp4 files but in my recodings page
empty player with no video displayed. Our server RAM is 1 GB. when i click
on warning symbol it shows "There have been errors while processing
recording"
is it server RAM problem or what is the reason for error while
processing recording?
For open meetings what are hardware requirements?

Hello Daniel,

Currently multi-upload is not implemented
It can easily be added to 3.2.0, but not 3.1.x :(
as workaround you can use REST API, not sure if it is easier ....

Hmmmm, actually it is expected behavior, video is being taken from
screen-sharing, audio from "client cam streams"
Can you check if you have video stream from screen-sharing?

Re: Open meetings Recording issue -regards

Posted by Peter Barton <pb...@netprotec.com>.
Hello, I am experiencing the same issues as Vasiliy and following Maxim's
latest recommendation to check the RAW video file I found that both audio
and video were good. However, with ffmpeg's attempt to convert to mp4 and
avi it strips all video elements from the file and leaves just the audio.
If you would like me to post logs please let me know and I will share with
you.

Thank you,

Most probably you have problems with screen-sharing, try to check raw files

Re: Open meetings Recording issue -regards

Posted by Tech Developer <si...@gmail.com>.
Thank you for your reply, i tried this cmd in terminal it shows "audio
stream discoverd after stream already parsed" . In hibernate folder
*.flv.mp4,*.flv,*.avifiles generated but no video in that files
What is the reason for this problem? is it server problem because of
1 GB RAM?

Hello Preetha,

Based on our experience, the following three minimum infrastructure could give you a seamless experience with OpenMeetings:

Server side: 16+ GB RAM, 3rd Gen+ Intel server processor

Client side: 8GB RAM, 3rd Gen+ Intel desktop processor

Internet: 5-10 Mbps (Upload and download)

Thank you.

Hi,

I installed openmetings in centos server, I fixed ffmpeg issue. i able to get *.ogg,*.flv,*.avi,*.flv.mp4 files but in my recodings page empty player with no video displayed. Our server RAM is 1 GB. when i click on warning symbol it shows "There have been errors while processing recording"

is it server RAM problem or what is the reason for error while processing recording?

For open meetings what are hardware requirements?
