Unable to load module mod_foo.so

Summary: Unable to load module mod_foo.so
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.35
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Config
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: michael@visionpro.com

When configured using --enable-layout=RedHat, the httpd.conf file does not get
changed in the LoadModule directives. When using the RedHat layout, modules are
placed in $prefix/lib/apache, the ServerRoot is set to /usr and the LoadModules
directives are set to modules/mod_foo.so. Manually changing the LoadModule
directives to lib/apache/mod_foo.so results in the module(s) being loaded.

If possible the Makefile should be modified to take care of this, or at least it should
be included in the documentation ;-)
