execution of a compute task
Valentin Kulichenko updated IGNITE-15231:
-----------------------------------------
Issue Type: New Feature (was: Improvement)
> Add a ability to pause the execution of a compute task
> ------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: IGNITE-15231
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-15231
> Project: Ignite
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: compute
> Affects Versions: 2.10
> Reporter: Valentin Kulichenko
> Priority: Major
>
> Related to IGNITE-15230.
> In addition to changing priority, there should be an option to suspend the task execution, while it's still in a queue. The pause can be either indefinite or for a certain period of time. A user then should be able to add the task back to the queue at any moment.
> Implementation-wise, we can probably reuse the reprioritization mechanism, or create a separate mechanism (need to investigate).
