ApjServerSecretKey available ?

Hi,
We're trying Tomcat 3.1 & Apache 1.3.12 cooperation. 
I've read that ApjServerSecretKey option is not yet implemented. 

I've two questions : 
1. Could you explain this option ?
   Does it mean SSL exchange between Apache and Tomcat, or security context
overpass ?

2. Could you tell us when it will be available ?
