As "jar", "compiler" plugin all provides <includes>, <excludes> configuration. But quite surprisingly, "source" plugin doesn't provide them. It's quite important. My use case is for same POM project, i want package the jar and source-jars selectively depends certain profile. But now i can do it with "jar" and "compiler" plugin, but the "source" jar will always include everything.
