[jira] Created: (SYNAPSE-706) Can not set a property inside a inline script

Can not set a property inside a inline script
---------------------------------------------

                 Key: SYNAPSE-706
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNAPSE-706
             Project: Synapse
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Script mediator
    Affects Versions: NIGHTLY
            Reporter: Heshan Suriyaarachchi
             Fix For: FUTURE

In the the script mediator, we can set a property to the message context and later retrieve it in the Synapse configuration.

This is working well in using the script files as local entries. But in the case of in-line script; if we set the property and later try to access it within the Synapse configuration, the value returned for the property is null.

Therefore, we can assume that the properties are not set properly in the case of script mediators.

Regards,
Heshan
