   +1 on @nastra's comment. This seems like an issue with the Hive Metastore trying to write data into the backend mysql.
   How are you using Hive? Are you using HiveCli? Are you able to write to a non-Iceberg table? Is using the Hive 4.0.0-alpha-2 release an option for you? It has more throughout and tested Iceberg integration OOB
