L.S.,
Is there a way to get Apache Open Office 4.1.1 for download on a CD? The versions I downloaded from the internet are not recognised by Apple and cannot be opened op my iMac Mavericks

Right-click or control-click on Openoffice icon follow the instructions in the pop-up window, you will only need to do this the first time you open the application.
