[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-1747) gradlew script needs a better error
message if unzip isn't available
Konstantin Boudnik created BIGTOP-1747:
------------------------------------------
Summary: gradlew script needs a better error message if unzip isn't available
Key: BIGTOP-1747
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1747
Project: Bigtop
Issue Type: Bug
Components: build
Affects Versions: 0.8.0
Reporter: Konstantin Boudnik
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 0.9.0
While trying to use {{gradlew toolchain}} on a minimal Ubuntu box, I stepped on the message that {{unzip command not found}}.
Clearly, in order to work gradlew needs unzip, which is only getting installed as a part of the toolchain.
At the very least we need to have a better error message
