[Issue 126170] New: Working with Bezier curves leads to crashes
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126170
Issue ID: 126170
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Working with Bezier curves leads to crashes
Product: Draw
Version: 4.1.1
Hardware: All
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: editing
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: jens.bornschein@tu-dresden.de

Example of manipulated Bezier polygon leads to crash while trying to save
When using the Bezier curves modifier, this leads to instant crashes of the
DRAW application or a crash while trying to save the file with an edited
Bezier-Point.
1. Placing a Bezier-curve handler directly on top of the path-point the DRAW
application hangs on and stop working without any response
2. When a path point was modified with Bezier handlers the DRAW document
cannot be saved anymore. The Application crashes instantly when trying to save
the file.
How to reproduce:
1. Create a triangle shape (e.g. a right-angled triangle)
2. Convert it into a polygon
3. Switch to point manipulation mode (F8)
4. Select a path point and transform it into a smooth Bezier point (not
corner point)
5. Manipulate the Bezier handles as you want
a. Placing the handle directly on top of the path point (e.g. to create a
hard corner) this leads to a hang on
b. Trying to save this document containing such a manipulated element
crashes the application
Attached picture shows this simple example.

You are right. The problem seems to be gone after deleting the whole user
folder. I will check what happens if I install and update all the extension
again.

I can't reproduce it under Ubuntu so it seems to be only one of the many
Windows crashes.
Please attach a sample document (before manipulating), so that everybody have
the same document conditions to reproduce this issue.
Please try whether the problem also occurs with a fresh user profile.
