Commits and branches

Hey everyone!

So you will have noticed some git commit noise.

Right now there are two branches to care about;

master - for getting 0.23/2.0 support up and running, this is what we have
talked about doing as an early release as soon as we can, so I think this
is where most of our work will be.

hadoop-1 - contains the pieces for working with 1.0 based clusters, and we
can push the minimum set of things that people have working.

Right now hooking to hdfs running on hadoop 0.23.6 works, I'm still trying
to get job launching running, but should be able to get that done here
pretty shortly.

I think after that we can all play around, shake things out, and likely
file bugs. We also need to discuss what tools/form we would like to use for
writing docs, as that is a really big hole.

Cheers,
Adam
