Missing tag for 0.9 release
I could not find a tag for the 0.9 release in the Git repo.
Surely there should be one?

The VOTE mail for 0.9 (the RC2 which eventually passed) [1] reports

I can take care of creating such tag.
For future releases, I'd propose to set as required to create a tag, for
the release process: it definitely helps keeping track of things.
